Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
at the Women's Integrated Pelvic Health Program
Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the Women's Integrated Pelvic Health Program, affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, helps individuals with pelvic health disorders. We know these problems frequently can limit normal activities, which can be both physically and emotionally devastating to the sufferer.
Many people accept these disorders and their symptoms as a normal part of aging or suffer in silence because they are too embarrassed to speak with their doctors. We’d like to change that.
The Integrated Pelvic Health Program was created with your physical, mental and emotional health, as well as your convenience, in mind. Our specialists share space in the Arkes Pavilion at 676 St. Clair Street, Suite 950, in Chicago, attached to the hospital by a covered pedestrian walkway.
Our Integrated Pelvic Health Program is the only program in the Chicago area that brings together a multispecialty approach to pelvic floor disorders in one location.
Our dedicated team of physicians, nurses and physical therapists are committed to restoring the quality of life for people with pelvic floor disorders. With treatment, individuals with these disorders may again enjoy activities like:
Studies and experience have shown that pelvic health disorders are best treated in a collaborative, multidisciplinary fashion at large academic medical centers. At the Integrated Pelvic Health Program, we bring together internationally recognized specialists in urogynecology, urology, colorectal surgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation to provide customized, compassionate, full-service care for women with the full range of pelvic disorders in a confidential environment.
The program serves as a national model for treatment, research and educational endeavors in female pelvic floor disorders where patients can benefit from the latest treatments and opportunities by participation in:
